The Mediterranean and Paleolithic diets have been interpreted as diets but they are not diets. They are lifestyles and eras. Paleo supposedly excludes grains and dairy, but other information shows grain and dairy use during the Paleolithic era. Food content of The Mediterranean diet consists of a lot of vegetable matter grown locally, fish from the sea, some red meat (but not huge consumption), plenty of olive oil, nuts and seeds and no low card. Individualize by adding rice to Paelo or fermented dairy. Compartmentalizing nutrition dismisses the individuality of the body and genetic testing can be very useful.
