We’ll go over what the paleo diet is, then show you how to start paleo in just four simple steps. Okay, first things first. What exactly is the paleo diet?,

Basically, the paleo diet mimics what our ancestors, who were largely hunter-gatherers, ate on a regular basis. This is why some people refer to paleo as “the caveman” diet. Basically, you’re supposed to eat like a caveman.

You don’t have to go foraging for berries or hunt down your dinner to go paleo. Instead, the paleo diet encourages its users to eat foods that are similar to what their hunter-gatherer ancestors would have eaten: things like pasture-raised meats, free range eggs, wild caught seafood, vegetables, fresh fruit, nuts and seeds and natural sweeteners like maple syrup and honey.
